Forrest Richmond launched Twin Arbor Analytical with a vision to bring clarity, accuracy, and high-quality testing to the nutritional and supplement industry. With dual B.S. degrees in Soil Science and Chemistry from Cal Poly and early-career experience in materials and soil chemistry, Forrest blends scientific expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Since founding the lab, he has guided its growth, expanded service capabilities, and built a team focused on delivering reliable, regulatory-aligned analytical results. Forrest’s leadership centers on integrity, innovation, and supporting clients with data they can trust.

Shawn Richmond
Founder & Director of Microbiology
Shawn leads the microbiology program at Twin Arbor Labs with a clear mission: to safeguard product quality and consumer well-being. She champions best practices by ensuring the use of the most up-to-date published test methods available to guarantee product safety and quality.
Under Shawn’s leadership, the laboratory provides accurate, timely, and reliable results that help manufacturers ensure regulatory compliance, prevent recalls, and maintain consumer trust.

Dr. Chris Gray
Quality Control Director and COO
Dr. Chris Gray brings a passion for science, technology, and business to Twin Arbor Labs. A natural entrepreneur, he has a history of working with complex scientific questions and a background in business analytics. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder and continued his research as an NRC fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. His multidisciplinary knowledge and interests are key to driving innovation and quality at Twin Arbor Labs.
