Microbial Contamination

We understand that different states have different requirements for microbial testing.

We just recently added USP 60 to our ISO scope, Burkholderia cepacia complex is a non-negotiable test to add into your QC regimen.

If you have a dietary supplement, USP 2021 and 2022 should satisfy your contamination concerns. It screens for Total Aerobic Plate Count, Total Yeast, Total Mold, Total Enterobacterial, Escherichia coli (-PA), Salmonella species (-PA), Staphylococcus aureus (-PA), Clostridium species

For your cosmetics, we follow USP 61 and 62, it screens for Total Aerobic Plate Count, Total Yeast, Total Mold, Total Enterobacterial, Escherichia coli (-PA), Salmonella species (-PA), Staphylococcus aureus (-PA), Clostridium species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans.

We can also offer method suitability preparatory testing for your USP 60/61 or USP 2021/2022 panels. Method suitability is highly recommended for new formulations and is only needed once unless you have a formula change or change in packaging.
